Do you feel your life is steered by fate, or by you? The Spheres of Control scale, developed by personality psychologist Delroy Paulhus, looks at how much control you feel you have in two areas of life: your own goals and achievements, and your relationships with other people. It has 20 statements and takes about five minutes. You get a score for each area and a profile of how the two fit together. This is a self-reflection questionnaire, not a diagnosis.
