How much do you really drink, and is it starting to cost you? The AUDIT is the World Health Organization's 10-question screening test for risky drinking. It takes about two minutes and places your past year of drinking in one of four WHO risk zones, with practical next steps.

Drinking Habits Test (AUDIT)
0 / 10
These questions are about your use of alcoholic drinks during the past year. One "drink" means one standard drink, about 10 grams of pure alcohol. A 330 ml can of 5% beer, a 140 ml glass of 12% wine or a 40 ml shot of 40% spirits each contain about 13 grams, a little more than one drink. Choose the answer that fits you best for every question; if you do not drink now, still answer questions 9 and 10, which also ask about earlier years. If you have not had a drink in the past year, choose "Never" for question 1, the first answer ("1 or 2", which scores 0) for question 2, and "Never" for questions 3 to 8. The original questionnaire skips these questions for non-drinkers; these answers give the same score.
